We love engraving on slate!  It turns out so beautifully with the contrast and this beautiful picture is no exception!  It says, "The Mountains are Calling and I Must Go" and features a mama bear and her cub meandering through the wooded mountains as the sun rises in the distance.

This piece measures approximately 10" in diameter.  It can be displayed on a table top easel or hung on the wall with the sawtooth hanger that comes on it.
